Sovereign Sky Inc or SSI Private Label was incorporated in 2005 by Nelson Nunes and Emily Chou with a goal to bring a level of accountability and customer service to the clothing manufacturing industry.
Sovereign Sky has been in business for over 15 years and manufactures in their factory in China and Los Angeles - producing clothing like knit sweaters, activewear, swimsuits, dresses, and more. Sovereign Sky is a team of professionals dedicated to helping companies big & small achieve their manufacturing goals while creating a cohesive team atmosphere.
We work together with companies to achieve their manufacturing goals through our quality of work and on-time performance. Our priority is to always be responsible for what we deliver. Every garment we produce is backed by our team of dedicated individuals ready to provide our experience and expertise to you. Meet The Visionaries
Emily's career in fashion began in college studying Apparel Design & Management at Cal Poly Pomona in California. She continued her education with an internship in Downtown Los Angeles, working as a production assistant for an overseas manufacturer. It was here that Emily not only just cut her teeth in apparel manufacturing, but where she became aware of the huge inequities involved between domestic brands and their manufacturing partners overseas.
Shortly thereafter Emily would meet Nelson, an international business & marketing major at Cal Poly Pomona. Together with their shared love of entrepreneurship, they would partner to start Sovereign Sky with the goal of manufacturing with a superior level of customer service & accountability for what they send out of their factory. Their goal was to be a clothing manufacturer that stood up for its clients in an industry known for its favoritism.
They've helped their clients grow their brands in Los Angeles, New York, and Canada. Emily and Nelson plans to leverage their global reach to further help their clients spread their brand across borders.
